I mentioned last time that I was going to be out of town for a week, so now I am back!! Technically, I've been back since Sunday, but I haven't had the ambition to do anything about it until now. Anyway, I have things to show off and to tell. My week out of state was definitely not a vacation, but of work. I had to help m parents clean out one of their houses so that it could be put on the market, which makes me sad since it's the house that I've spent most of my life in. Couldn't be helped, though. Parents are drowning with financial issues and it had to be done. We've technically been moved out of it for 5 years, but we've been taking our sweet time removing our belongings. Now that it's (mostly) done, it can be sold to a new family.
Anyway, I'm done with the mindless ranting. First order of business: Blueberry WIP. I know I promised you all a picture of it before I left but the internet was being stupid and I couldn't get on to do it. So this is a picture of what the piece looked like before leaving.....which I can't find, so this is the progress I have thus far.
So much more color!!! There's still a lot to do, but it's getting there. I also need to make a swap gift for the big swap happening on Sprite Stitch. I have tons of ideas, but no concrete plans, yet, so I'm getting slightly nervous. I do have until the end of June to send it out, but we'll see how it goes.
Patterns. I decided to give you lovely people a couple of dog patterns. I don't particularly like dogs, but these were too cute to pass up.
